In the View Administration dashboard you have a red status on your View connection server(s) with the following errors:
Server’s certificate is not trusted.
Server’s certificate cannot be checked.
This issue occurs if the Certificate Revocation List (CRL) includes a URL that cannot be accessed from the Connection Server paired to the Security Server.
To fix the issue make sure all the URLs can gain access through your proxy or apply the following registry fix to disable CRL checking. Enable it on all your connection server(s) not your Security Server(s).
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\Security\ in the View Connection Server.
Create the CertificateRevocationCheckType registry string (REG_SZ) and set its value to 1.
You do not have to reboot the connection server(s).
For security reasons some business do not want to disable CRL checking. If this is the case and the URL can not be allowed you may have to live with the red error, it is mainly superficial.
Users should not be impacted.
