My first time to Norway and Trondheim, such beautiful countryside and i was lucky to get the sunshine for most of my stay, which incidentally never really set. It was quite balmy at times so i didn’t need half the clothes i’d packed but i was told it wasn’t the norm.
I was struck by the beautiful buildings and the quiet little narrow streets and really enjoyed a jog around the river.
I stayed at the Raddisson Blu which is nicely situated and i’m told is the best hotel in Trondheim, the rooms were great but i chose to go elsewhere for food. There are loads of tapas and bistro type restaurants surrounding the harbour and they get packed if the sun comes out. I’m guessing the Trondheimenans make the most of it.
I enjoyed a lovely meal at Cowsea Restobar.
A very chilled out little town.
